Nails in Bombs (Louis Toliver Jr - USA/Austin, Texas)

Let’s walk through the bloody debris
The dust has settled, lifeless bodies
There’s men and women and children
All races, all religions, all genders, ALL
Blood is on the hands of the ignorant
Yet all of humanity dies a little more
The threshold of life is challenged again
It is certain weapons have no regard for life
The means to kill is in front our faces
We no longer can deny evil exist in this world
A force on earth strictly meant to destroy
What’s less inhuman than destroying humans?
Putting nails in bombs to ensure death

Little Muslim Boy (of America) (Louis Toliver Jr - USA/Austin, Texas)

So innocent, so sweet
Oh, I hope we do meet
So I can say, “You’re home!”
No longer will you need to roam
Little Muslim boy of America
Grab my hand let’s build America
Born here and American made
Love your character, don't be afraid
One day you will be a man
You will be as mighty as you can
My brother own your future
Our spirituality is like a suture
Our heritage is about freedom
The ability to rule this kingdom
You are a beautiful American hue
I’d like to say, “I love you!”
