War (Louis Toliver Jr-USA/Austin, Texas)

Hate victimized another brother
I'm not sure how to tell Mother
And Father too, that he is dead
I remember Mother always said
Two wrongs never make right
No need to kill to show might

To violence, it's best to say no
Don't always go with the flow
Take the road less traveled
Don't let fear get you unraveled
After the bombs explode and settle
And all we are left with is metal
If war succeeds in its mission
Joined by hate, a dangerous ambition
War can be our worst nightmare
Leaving next generations in despair
War, what is it really good for?
Absolutely nothing but tragic gore
