War (Louis Toliver Jr-USA/Austin, Texas)

Hate victimized another brother 
I'm not sure how to tell Mother 
And Father too, that he is dead 
I remember Mother always said 
Two wrongs never make right 
No need to kill to show might

To violence, it's best to say no 
Don't always go with the flow
Take the road less traveled 
Don't let fear get you unraveled 
After the bombs explode and settle 
And all we are left with is metal 
If war succeeds in its mission
Joined by hate, a dangerous ambition
War can be our worst nightmare
Leaving next generations in despair 
War, what is it really good for? 
Absolutely nothing but tragic gore
